Aleph Champ is recommended for students in grades 1-8 who want to learn Hebrew according to moving forward in levels, similar to Karate.
Aleph Champ is a karate motivated Hebrew reading system that follows the age old, traditional mesorah.
Their method is as follows:
1. Clearly breaks down Hebrew reading into manageable goals and levels.
2. Identifies students reading skills, and areas of difficulty for staff and parents
3. Allows for multiple levels of student within one classroom.
4. Success alone is the motivation. Students are personally inspired to advance.
Aleph Champ takes inspiration from Karate and divides Hebrew reading skills into 10 colored levels. There are fun games and activities to help the students meet their goals. Moving up a level in Aleph Champ is a source of pride for students, which fosters self-motivation to succeed, a quality that is unique to the Aleph Champ Hebrew Reading program.
The program provide workbooks, reading books, flashcards, and medallions. Teachers receive a User Manual.
Aleph Champ is used in 600 schools, in 30 countries, adding up to more than 50,000 students.
Feedback from teachers in Europe is that students enjoyed using Aleph Champ in a Hebrew School “it’s the best the UK has to offer in reading schemes.”
