Welcome to the CET Website. 

In completing this application and checking at the end, you agree to the following: 

  • You understand that the purpose of the UnitED GRC website is to provide programming, professional development, curriculum and resources for day school teachers and students. Any such programming and providers supplying the same shall comply with all applicable health, safety, child welfare, and legal regulations and restrictions.

  • That you and anyone at your company who would interact with children have never been convicted of a crime involving minors.

  • By submitting this form you are not guaranteed a space in the GRC, Global Resource Center. Your application will be reviewed by a UnitED staff member, who may be in touch with you directly.

  • You warrant and represent that all materials, and the contents thereof, and all other materials to be used in the GRC are owned by you and/or you have all required licenses to use such materials, and the use will not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property right of any third party.

  • You understand and have reviewed Foundation for UnitED policy to prohibit intentional and unintentional harassment of any individual by another person on the basis of any protected classification including, but not limited to, race, color, national origin, disability, religion, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, or age. 

  • You hereby agree to immediately indemnify UnitED , its Affiliates, and hold them harmless from any and all claims arising out of relating to a breach of any of your aforesaid obligations.

  • This site is run and operated by the Center for Educational Technology (hereinafter: “CET”). Use of the Website, including the content contained therein and the various services operating therein, signifies your acceptance of these Terms. Please read them carefully. You will also find links to content that are subject to, in addition to these general terms of use, an online agreement that specifically addresses them.

These terms apply to the use of Content contained on the Website through a computer or other device (cellular phone, tablet, Etc). They also are applicable to the use of the site using the internet network or all other means of communication.

Under these terms of use, the term “content” includes all content whether verbal, visual, vocal, audio-visual and any combination thereof and their design, processing, and acting, distribution and manner of presentation, including (but not limited to): any image, photography, illustration, animation, chart, figure, visualization, sampling, video, voice file and musical file; as well as the technological tools used to operate the site, including any software, file, computer code (including source code), application, arrangement, protocol, database and interface, and any character, symbol and icon.

The intellectual property rights, including the copyright on the site, its planning design and the technological tools used by the site, (including the products of the conversion to the online dimension in source code) and are owned by CET.

In the case of links to external sites that do not belong to CET (third-party sites): unless otherwise stated on this site, CET and third-party site owners have no legal or commercial relationship, and therefore, CET has no control or right in the material contained on these sites. CET is not liable for the content found on third-party sites. In providing links to third-party websites, it should not be construed as CET providing a seal of approval, recommendation or preference to those linked sites, including the documents and any other material contained therein, the site operators or the products presented therein.

 

Participation in activities in upload materials section

 

In order to enter and participate in the ‘upload materials’ section, you will be requested to enter your full name, School / Organiztion, e-mail address and phone no. (optional). Thereafter, you will create an account with a username and password.  Materials will be automatically uploaded pending approval from a UnitED staff member.

 

CET is not liable for the content shared by participants in this section. In providing the platform, it should not be construed as CET providing a seal of approval, recommendation or preference to those materials.  Please note – it is your liability and obligation to make sure that by sharing materials in this section you do not breach any 3rd party rights, including Copyright and any other IP rights. If notified of the existence of infringing materials in this section, CET reserves its right and obligation to delete such materials appearing in this section.

 

Responsibility

 CET will not be responsible for adjusting content for user needs and mistakes or errors in the material presented on the site.  

Privacy Policy

 

Upon using the site, information about the user is collected. By using the Website and its Services, you consent to any use which may be made of the information collected about you as set forth in this policy. You further declare that you as the adults or minors (under the age of 18) use the Website are subject to parental consent and / or legal Guardians authorized to enable / authorize its use.

 

CET may use the information provided by a user, as well as any information collected about the user’s usage patterns by tracing the use of the site (including through files, hereinafter “Cookies”) for the purpose of improving services, information and content. Cookies are files that are on the hard disk of a user’s personal computer that allow them to collect information about the user’s preference on the internet and their usage habits such as favorite Websites, interests and the like. The cookies used by CET allow it to tailor the site, content and services offered on the site to user’s preferences to enhance the browsing experience on the site. If you do not wish to have your preferences and information collected through the use of cookies while using the CET site, you can change the settings in the browser you are using, delete existing cookies, prevent the creation of new files, or create an option wherein each cookie will be presented to you so that you are able to agree to its use or refuse it before proceeding. Use of the information provided by users is subject to the following conditions:

* We only collect information provided to us by users and of their own volition.

* CET pledges not to transfer the information collected to another body unless the law allows it to do so. 

In addition to the information listed above, additional statistics may be collected and part that do not allow users to be personally identified and are intended, among other things, to improve the level of services and products are foreign exchange, research and development (including through third parties), to create new products and services or for purposes of site maintenance and control. It is clarified that the user will have no right in such data or related products.

CET pledges to keep all information about users protected in the register database, to be used if required in accordance with the Privacy Protection Act, 1981.

 

You have the right at any time to access any information provided by you or collected about you in order to confirm the accuracy and reliability of the information. Your right to receive the information, to demand the removal of the information (“the right to be forgotten”), your right to object to the processing of the information and thus your behavioral profile will be created as a result.

 

Data Security

 

CET will take all reasonable steps to secure the information provided by users. Having stated as much, CET cannot guarantee that the information and communication systems security against unauthorized intrusions is ironclad and 100% infallible in prohibiting its use by third parties. Therefore, CET shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, in the case of the disclosure and use of information provided by the user, directly or indirectly, from unauthorized penetration of others or as a result of acts and / or omissions which are not controlled by CET.

 

This policy is designed to protect users’ online safety.

 

Law and Jurisdiction

 

  1. The laws of the State of Israel will apply solely for the use of the Website.

  2. Any matter arising from the use of the Website, including the services provided by registering with the Website, fall solely and exclusively under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv.
